How To Use

Directions for Use:

Full Strip Preparation

Strip the floor with a FACILIPRO stripper at the recommended use dilution. Rinse well and let dry.

Scrub and Recoat Preparation

Deep scrub with a FACILIPRO cleaner using a blue pad. Rinse and let dry.

Sealing the Floor

A sealer is not required with FACILIPRO™ Medium Frequency Floor Finish (Phazer™) on most resilient floors. If a sealer is desired due to floor porosity (e.g., terrazzo) apply one heavy coat of Phazer Sealer Finish or one or two coats of another FACILIPRO sealer or for protection against staining spills, apply one or two coats of an FACILIPRO sealer.

Maintenance

Dust mop. Autoscrub or damp mop with a FACILIPRO cleaner. Prepare floors with a FACILIPRO cleaner/maintainer prior to burnishing. Burnish weekly (up to three times per week) with combination synthetic/natural blend pad.

Slip Resistance

FACILIPRO™ Medium Frequency Floor Finish (Phazer™) meets or exceeds the CSPA benchmark for slip resistance as determined by ASTM D-2047.

Directions for Phazer Mobile System Use

Set-up

  • Pre-rinse the applicator pad; wring out and center the pad onto the applicator head.
  • Place a bag of product into the pack with the bag spout at the bottom of the pack and facing out. Lock the spout into position. Close the cover and secure the locking strap.
  • Attach the delivery tube by rotating the tube connector onto the spout and hand tighten. Put on the pack and adjust the straps.

Application Method

  • Plan your route to maintain a wet leading edge. Work in sections.
  • Depress the lever on the applicator handle to dispense product as needed.
  • Coats are most commonly applied at 1750 ft2/U.S. gallon (42 m2/L).
  • Work the applicator pad through a small puddle of product to pre-load the pad.
  • Outline the first section and fill in using an overlapping figure-8 pattern; overlap the outline.
  • Start slowly and build speed over time to avoid ridges, splashing and missed areas.
  • The average dry time before walking on floor will be 15-40 minutes; allow approximately 40 minutes between coats.
  • Remove using any Ecolab floor finish stripper. Follow label directions.

Clean-up

  • Remove the tube connector from the spout. Attach the tethered adapter. Activate the handle lever and hold the connector under running water. Rinse out the system thoroughly.
  • Rinse the exterior of the bag spout.
  • Immerse the applicator pad in water (do not allow the finish to dry on the pad). Rinse well under running water. Wring and hang the pad to dry.
